Do Blasts credits expire?
No. Blasts credits are bought as one-time deposits and never expire. There is no monthly subscription requirement.
How many credits does one Blast use?
One typed Blast to one recipient consumes one credit. Voice Blasts consume two credits per recipient.
A typed Blast to a 1,000-person distribution list uses 1,000 credits; the same list by voice uses 2,000.
Are BlastCredits credits the same as credits from Blasts.app?
Yes. BlastCredits is an Authorized Blasts Partner providing genuine Blasts credits. They are consumed the same way on the same account; the difference is the price.
You connect your Blasts account to BlastCredits, and purchased credits are transferred to it immediately after payment.
Can buying credits let me Blast people who haven't connected with me?
No. A Blasts connection must exist before a message can be delivered, and recipients approve each sender. Credits pay for delivery to connected recipients only.
How is a Blast cheaper than SMS or email?
A typed Blast is one prepaid credit with no carrier fee, a fraction of a cent even at list price. Blasts also land on the recipient's screen rather than in an inbox or SMS thread. Email campaigns through your own SES, Microsoft 365 or Gmail account are an additional $0.02 per 1,000 emails from prepaid credits.
Is there nonprofit pricing?
Verified nonprofits and churches receive 20%+ bonus Blasts credits on Everyday packages through $500. Apply at blastcredits.com/en/verify-nonprofit/. Applicants using an organization-domain email may be verified instantly; everyone else is reviewed by hand.
Is there developer pricing?
A developer pricing program for teams using the Blasts Partner API and SDK is planned. Enrolling a user through the Partner API debits one partner credit per successful recipient, so credit price matters at scale; register for early access to be notified when it opens.
Do I need a subscription, and can I buy 5 million credits?
No subscription is required; credits are one-time deposits. Package sizes run from a starter pack to multi-million-credit enterprise packages, and volume quotes are available for quantities in between or above.
